The brief
SanData IT-Trainingszentrum is one of Germany's established IT-training providers, running over a thousand courses (from Adobe and Microsoft to SAP, ITIL, CAD and AI) across more than thirty locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, plus live-online. They needed a custom WordPress and WooCommerce platform that could present that large catalogue clearly, let prospects download full course details, and handle booking and consultation requests, all in German and built to scale.
What we did
- Built and maintained a custom WordPress site with WooCommerce powering the course catalogue and bookings.
- Developed a custom ACF module so each course page can carry downloadable PDF course information.
- Customised the WooCommerce booking flow for course enrolment, including course variants and half-day 'Shorties' formats.
- Resolved redirect, indexing and responsiveness issues, and refined German UI copy (for example 'Weiterlesen' to 'Mehr Infos').
How we built it
The catalogue is the heart of the site, so we modelled courses as WooCommerce products and used Advanced Custom Fields to attach a downloadable PDF to each one, giving prospects the full agenda before they commit without bloating the page. Course variants (dates, locations, online versus on-site) map onto WooCommerce's variation model, so a single course can be booked in any format. We also worked through the long tail of a large established site: redirect hygiene, indexability, and responsive fixes on key pages like Garantietermine, and we tightened the German microcopy so the booking journey reads naturally to a German audience.
Everything is built for a German-speaking audience and a catalogue that keeps growing: course types, PDFs and booking variants are all editable in WordPress, so new courses and formats go live without development work.

The result
SanData runs its full thousand-plus course catalogue on a custom WordPress and WooCommerce platform, with downloadable course PDFs and a booking flow that handles multiple formats and locations. The site supports their multi-country footprint and the steady addition of new courses.
